Fernando Rosas Jr. Obituary
Fernando Rosas, Jr., age 88 of Rosharon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his residence surrounded by family. Fernando was born on May 24, 1929 in DeWalt, Texas, and was a resident of Rosharon for over 30 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel, Texas. Fernando is preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Francisca Rosas.
Fernando is survived by his wife Andrea Rosas after 63 years of marriage, daughters, Sylvia Ramirez and husband Edward, Lenora Flores and Fiancé John Lopez, sons, Jose Rosas and wife Josefina, Ricardo Rosas and wife Gloria, Roy Rosas, sisters, Theresa Reitzell, Mary Bernett, brother, Frank Rosas and wife Clara, 17 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 5 great-greatgranchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary service recited at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel. Interment will follow in Confederate Cemetery Alvin, Texas.
