He is survived by: his brother Terry Mitcham; his children, Deena Hoop (Elbert Jr.), Lanieca Perdue (Gary) and David Mitcham (Jamie); his grandchildren, Tammy Paynter, Ronda Biondillo, Jessica Harris, Brandon Perdue, Preston Mitcham, Parker Mitcham and Kayla Townsend; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlin Paynter, Michael Paynter, David Biondillo, Kira Smith, Hally Harris and Bella Harris.
