He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Hernandez and Antonia Hernandez; his wife Delia Garcia; his grandson Aaron Gregory Hernandez; and his sister Irma Estella.
He is survived by: his children, Alejo Hernandez Jr., Eduardo Hernandez, Alfonso Hernandez (Shanda) and Irma Estella Garcia; his brothers, Abdon, Roberto, Juan, Marcelo, Ramiro and Tomas Hernandez Jr.; and his grandchildren, Bianca of Humberto, III, Karissa, Mia, Lucas and Alexa.
