He was predeceased by: his son Steven Ray Yanez; his siblings, Mary Patina and Anthony Yanez; and his granddaughter Briley Yanez. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Trevino Yanez; his parents, John Yanez and Estefana Yanez; his siblings, Greg Yanez, Johnny (Sylvia Yanez), Deacon Albert (Dolores Yanez), Eddie (Grace Yanez), Elida (Tim Matovina), Grace Cardenas and Sally (Scott Kathmann); his children, Jessica Zuniga, Lindsey Yanez, Michael Yanez (Vanessa Yanez), Kenneth Yanez (Elizabeth Lopez) and James Yanez (Marissa Cross); his stepson Albert Manuel Cuestas; and his grandchildren, Devon, Madison Joshua, Zyda, Anthony, Candice, Aidan, Jessie, Aubrey, Emerie, Evan, Addison, Gage, Taytum, Ryland and Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home (722 Grillo Way, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the San Gabriel Annex Cemetery (9102 US-90 ALT, Beasley, TX 77417).
