He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Elster McConnell and Roland McConnell; and his brothers, Albert McConnell, Robert McConnell and Paul McConnell.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae McConnell; his children, James McConnell (Cynthia) and Carol MacRill (Glenn MacRill); his grandchildren, Adam McConnell (Sarah), Pamela Rothermel (Adam Rothermel), Austin MacRill (Kathryn George) and Amy Zlebis (Nathan Zlebis); his great grandchildren, Luke Rothermel, Jake Rothermel, Aleksander McConnell and Everett McConnell; and his brother William McConnell (Blanche). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
