He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Niño and Maria Nicanora Niño; his spouse Arcadia Peña Niño; and his daughter Delia Carrizales. He is survived by: his children, Irene Niño, Gilbert Niño, Diana Acosta, Gloria Monacelli, Irma Niño, David Niño and Reyes Niño, Jr. (Niño); and his siblings, Pauline Briseño, Maria Espericueta, Elodia Rocha, Robert Niño and Rosa Linda Sauceda.
