With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria R. Martinez of Rosenberg, Texas, born in Eagle Lake, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donaciano Rosilez and Dolores Rosilez; her children, Consuelo Martinez and Isidro Martinez; and her granddaughter Erin Wusterhausen.

She is survived by: her husband Pablo Martinez; her children, Theresa Martinez, Ines Martinez, Rita Riddle (Glenn), Carlos Martinez (Cynthia), Martha G. Martinez, Robert Martinez and Gerardo Martinez (Wendy); and her siblings, Tina Muniz, Felipe Rosilez, Janie Olivas, Dominga Cuellar and Mercedes Castillo. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
