As Maria Cavazos departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maria Cavazos may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maria Cavazos leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reynaldo Abrego; her parents, Fidel Vela and Julia Vela; and her daughter Flory Abrego. She is survived by: her children, Reynaldo Abrego, Hugo Abrego (Elizabeth) and Landy Abrego; and her brother Fidel Cavazos. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the E. P. Compean Funeral Directors (1223 6th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the E. P. Compean Funeral Directors (1223 6th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471).
