Maria Antonia Ferman, age 96, resident of Rosenberg, Texas, went to heaven Thursday, May 23, 2019. She was born October 31, 1922 to parents Luis Ferman and Tiburcia Ferman (Fuentes Torres) who preceded her in death along with her husband, Salomon Lopez Arellano, and brothers, Santos Ferman, Julio Ferman, Lucio Ferman, Luis Ferman, Sebastian Ferman, and sisters Ana Cleta Ferman, Petrona Ferman, and daughters Tomasa Orellana (Seferino), Gloria Ferman, and son Agustin Ferman. Survivors include her daughters Rosa M Castillo (Jose) Maria O Hernandez (Ernesto), Cristina Rivera (Ramon), Marta Mejia (Claro), her sons Francisco J Ferman (Juana), J. Angel Ferman (M Consuelo), Arturo Ferman (Carmen), and grandchildren Gloria Lea Hernandez, Hector Samuel Hernandez, Maribel Orellana, Duglas Romero Orellana, Rebeca Orellana, Sara Abigail Orellana, Eliza Orellana, Rosita Castillo, Gloria Ruby Ferman, Luis Ferman, Carlos Ferman, Juan Ferman, A Ester Barrera (Andres), Wilfredo Ferman (C Ines), Hector Ferman (Isabel), Lizeth Lopez (Jairo), Glendis Graham (Todd), Claire Gutierrez (Elio), Sara E Morales (Miguel), Jesus Cano (Danielle), Mirian Hoover (Jeremy), Alba Lopez (Joel), Angelina Barrera (Rick), and great-grandchildren Deanna Michelle (Jeffry), Victor Perales, Cristina Perales, Faith, Isaiah, Cody, Madeline, Crisella, Eliaberto, Andrea, Carlos Jr, J Andrew, Jacob, Mary, Raquel, Irma, Rebeca, Jaqueline (Sal), Christian, Perla, Miguel Jr, Luke, Jacob, Leonardo Gael, Javier Angel, Aby, Ely, Gerson, Adonay, Irma, Milagro, Noemi and Francisco. Maria was a long-time member of Congregation Beth Messiah in Houston.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29th 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the South Park Funeral Home (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 29th 2019 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30th 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location and burial at 11:30 AM.
