John Roy Horak Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 88, John Roy Horak of Rosenberg, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Horak and Lydia Horak; his in-laws, Charlie Horak, Jr. (Margaret), Lorene Kujawa (Julian), Daniel Horak (Ruby), Mary Lucas (Luke) and Ruth Nell Coursey (Gene); his son-in-law Bob Bridwell; and his granddaughter Steffeni Ruth Horak.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Steffen of Guy, TX; his daughter Deborah Horak-Bridwell (family: Taylor Bridwell, Kali Bridwell Moore); his grandchildren, Caleb, Kathryn, Joel and Shane; his son Stephen Horak (Christi Cotten, family: Brandi Cotton D'Errico); his grandchildren, Shaelyn Dussetochleger (Dylan), Hannah, Aydan, Mia, Mattia and Cori Cotten Wilhite (Brent); his children, Jordyn Lee (Logan), Jesse Wilhite and Ashli Horak Arnold (John); his grandchildren, Addilyn and Maverick; and his great great grandchild Leighton Lee.
