He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Blasdel and Ruth Blasdel; his siblings, William Blasdel, Jim Blasdel, Mary Emma Reed, Ruth Werner and Jane Ann Klawitter; and his grandson Connor Fitzhugh.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Blasdel; his children, Tammey Blasdel, Chance Blasdel (Mandi), Donnie Jerkins (Cora) and Stephen Jerkins (Leann); his sister Haroldetta Robertson; and his grandchildren, Greenlee Fitzhugh, Chandler Fitzhugh, Levi Blasdel, Ashley Martinez (Paul), Chase Jerkins (Jenn), Clayton Jerkins (Sarah), Blake Jerkins, Brittany Jerkins and Faith Jerkins. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapels (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
