James Laroy Freeman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 83, James Laroy Freeman (Rosenberg, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Freeman and Florine (Bill Nixon); his wife Kitty Freeman; and his brother Bobby Freeman. He is survived by: his daughters, Desma Stephens, Philis Rivera (Ray) and Shawn Johnston (Craig); his grandchildren, Curtis Stephens, Daphna Stephens, Adam Rivera, Aaron Rivera, Rachael Kaufman (Kaleb), Alex Rivera, Allen Rivera, Christina Rivera, Susanna Villanueva (JV), Daniel Rivera, Elizabeth Rivera, Michelle Rivera, Kasie Kessler and Hope Howard (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Bryce, Lindsay, Noel, Kenny, Riley, Bodhi and Easton. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the E. P. Compean Funeral Directors (1223 6th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
