He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Luisa and Manuel Sanchez Sr.; and his siblings, Manuel Sanchez Jr., Simon Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Baldomero Sanchez, Guadalupe Escobedo, Frances Torres and Raymundo Sanchez Sr..
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Francis X. Velasquez II and Isabel Therese Velasquez; his wife Adelfina Rodriguez Sanchez; his children, Elva Rodriguez (Pete), Elma Bailey (Bill), Joelouis Sanchez (Molly), Elsa Velasquez (Frank), Elisa Sanchez, Gonzalo Sanchez Jr. (Gloria), Noel Sanchez (Lisa) and Diana Cardenas (Rene); and his siblings, Petra Amador (Thomas), Irene Alfaro (Omar), Maria Rubio and Crecencio Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
