She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Ling; her parents, Emil Novak and Cecelia Novak of El Campo; and her brother Marvin Novak of Manvel. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Barger (Terry) of Bryan and Travis Ling (Mary) of Katy; and her grandchildren, Sarah Oldham (Casey) of College Station, Dylan Ling of Austin and Nikki Ling of Katy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to The American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
