She was predeceased by: her parents, Arbrey Hugh Gibson and Gertrude Mary Fishbeck Gibson; her husband Johnnie C. Vacek; her daughter Sandra Jo Vacek; her grandson Andrew Michael Murrile; and her brother James Forrest Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Murrile (Don) of Damon, Texas, Brenda Woodham (Fred) of Bozeman, Montana and Chris Vacek (Karen) of Rosenberg, Texas.; her grandchildren, Tyler Murrile (Jennifer) of Guy, Texas, Ryan Woodham of Bozeman, Montana, Cristin Woodham Moore (Trevor) of Kaunakakai, Hawaii, Nicole Woodham Klein (Brad) of Columbia, Maryland, Lindsey Murrile Hawkins (Josh) of Beasley, Texas, Megan Vacek of Rosenberg and Logan Vacek of Rosenberg; her great grandchildren, Morgan Murrile, Kelcie Murrile, Alec Murrile, Ava Hawkins, Ryleigh Hawkins, John Hawkins, Odinn Moore, June Woodham, Kaitlyn Woodham, Carter Klein and Bodhi Klein; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Katie Thomas and Scott Simoni; and her sister Joyce Holub of Port Lavaca. She is also survived by sister–in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Holy Rosary School in Rosenberg, Texas.
