He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose P. Garcia and Maria Louisa Garcia; and his siblings, Maria Oralia Razo, Maria Benigna Mireles and Juan F. Garcia.

He is survived by : his wife Hortense S. Garcia; his children, Carlos Garcia, Jr., Ricky Lee Garcia, Mary Ann Rodriguez (Patrick), Deborah Ann Morin and Jeanie Marie Oliver (Trevor); his siblings, Jose P. Garcia, Jr., Jose Antonio Garcia, Benito Garcia, Arnulfo Garcia, Emilia Huerta, Maria Louise Montalvo and Maria Carmen Colquitt; his grandchildren, April of Cassandra, T. J., Marcus, Angelina, Madeline, Arianna, Daniel and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Amery, Matthew and Jacob. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (4111 Airport Ave, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
