He is survived by: his wife Joan Lea Walters; his children, Dwayne Zatopek (Mandy), Jodi Francis (James), Trisha Zatopek, Kristie Parker and Clark Balke; his sisters, Lydie Mae Kelley (Karl), Elldora White (Paul) and Lois Macha; and his grandchildren, Kailey, Madisyn Zatopek, Jimmy Downing, Ashley Leslie (Blake) and Parker Francis.
