With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alwood Albert Leonhardt of Rosenberg, Texas, born in Burton, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Bradley Leonhardt; his parents, Bennie Leonhardt and Lucille Leonhardt; his sister Ruth; and his brother-in-law Schoenemann.

He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Leonhardt; his children, Teresa Zuehlke (Lloyd Zuehlke) and Randall Leonhardt; his daughter-in-law Debbie Jones; his sister Donna Kunkel (Al Duane); his brother-in-law Robert Leonhardt; his grandchildren, Tamara Twidell (Michael), April Zwahr (Josh), Tara Brawley (Matt), Lenzie Leonhardt (Ryan) and Kaylee Leonhardt; and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Tucker, Owen Twidell, Piersyn Zwahr, Mason Brawley, Gaige Wrichard and Gavin Howard.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (1208 5th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1208 5th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Richter Cemetery (1909 FM1457, Round Top, TX 78954).
