She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Treat and Minnie Rains Treat; her husband Ted Smith; her sons, Jessy Ray Smith, Teddy James Smith (Sandra) of Rosebud, Johnny Darrell Smith (Rose) of Salado and Jerry Floyd Smith (Amanda) of Rosebud; and her siblings, Henry Floyd Treat of Lorena, Mary Downes of Lott and Vallie Shull of Shirley. She was also cherished by 13 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
