He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Marek and Frances Skrabanek Marek Sr.; his wife Virginia Mears; and his son Dale Marek. He is survived by: his children, Dave Marek (Melissa) of Four Oaks, Sherrie Kelley (Dwight) of Rosebud and Pattie Marek of Rosebud. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
