He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Rodriguez and Eugenia Lara Rodriguez; his wife Fannie Gonzalez; and his siblings, Merced Rodriguez, Juan "John" Rodriguez and Paula Navarro.
He is survived by: his children, Raul Rodriguez Jr. of Temple, Danny Rodriguez of Rosebud, Sylvia Rodriguez Avila of Rosebud, Gloria Snyder of Rosebud and Lisa Portillo of Waxahachie; and his sisters, Matilda Castro of Waco, Jamie Ambriz of Rosebud, Mary Davila of Rosebud and Betty DeLeon of Temple. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
