He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melesio and Juanita Salazar Tamez Sr.; his wife Mary Lou Tamez of Rosebud; his sons, Carlos Tamez of Rosebud, Semon Tamez (Cheyenne) of Rosebud and Roman Tamez (Linda) of England; his siblings, Claud Tamez of Amarillo, Pete Tamez of Rosebud, David Tamez of Rosebud, Suluma Ruiz of Hereford, Angie Cerda of Longview, Josie Riojas of Temple and Janie Medrano of Rosebud; and his grandchildren, Nathan Tamez, Andrew Tamez and Logan Tamez.
