He was predeceased by: his parents, R. H. Barnhart and Ruth Barnhart (Curlee); his wife Hazel Diver Barnhart; and his siblings, Eugene, Hugh, Bob Barnhart and Margie Pistole.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Baker (Steve) and Melanie Pomykal (Paul); his grandchildren, Krystal Cruse (Brian), Scott Baker, Robbi Nutt (Kevin) and Randy Pomykal (Kylie); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Austin, Brooklyn Nutt and Layne Cruse; and his siblings-in-law, Lynda Cocke (Milton) and David Diver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Powers Chapel Cemetery (Rosebud, TX 76570).
