He is survived by: his children, Steven Marek of Rosebud and Kimberly Marek of Katy; his sister Jo Ann Pemberton of Temple; his stepbrothers, Carroll Wayne Glaser of Rockdale and James Edward Glaser of Cameron; and his grandchildren, Emma Jo Marek and Mason Lee Marek.
