He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Portillo and Dionicia Flores Portillo Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Jesse Portillo Jr. (Linda) of Rosebud, Francisco Portillo (Sherry) of Rosebud, Sophia Engelholm (Todd) of Rosebud, Denise Buhl of Temple and Casey Baltimore (Brian) of Kyle; and his brothers, Joe Portillo of Waco, Guadalupe Portillo Jr. of Rosebud, Robert Portillo Waco, Epifanio Portillo of Rosebud, Rosendo Portillo of Waco and Paul Portillo of Waco. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church in Rosebud.
