He was predeceased by: his parents, Dickie Hughes and Delores Krambeer Hughes; his brother Barry Hughes; and his daughter-in-law Renee Hughes. He is survived by: his son Shane Hughes; his adoptive son Tony Newman; his daughter Kelly Hughes; his great grandchild Logan Martinez; and his siblings, Mark Hughes, Clifford Hughes, Ted Hughes, Jerrine Arney and Colleen Finger. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
