He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Fikes Thornton; his daughters, Lori Thornton, Jamie Sodek (Christopher) and Julie Fierro (Reece); his grandchildren, Lana Novosad, Latham Novosad, Hailey Sodek and Hunter Sodek; his father Johnnie Thornton, Sr.; and his siblings, Charles Thornton, Jerry Thornton, Craig Thornton and Carla. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
