She was predeceased by: her parents, George Johnson and Annie Thompson Johnson; her stepfather George Thomas (Wilmer Allen Cavitt Sr.); her son Wilmer Allen Cavitt Jr.; and her siblings, George Thomas (Jim), Robert Thomas, Betty Thomas, Dorothy Thomas, Linda Thomas, Nancy Thomas, Helen Pace and Ernestine Spears.
She is survived by: her children, Billie Ray Johnson, Eugene Johnson, Erma Whitfield (Billy), Michelle Cavitt, Tracie Cavitt, Patrecia Thomas, Nancy Hodges (Eugene) and Sherill Demouchet (Michael); and her siblings, Carla Baker, Charles Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Johnnie Thomas Odell Thomas and Randy Thomas. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
