He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Hoelscher and Bertha Dehmer Hoelscher; and his siblings, James Hoelscher, Leonard Hoelscher, Eugene Hoelscher and Dorothy Meek.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Hoelscher; and his children, Patsy Moeller (Manard) of Rosebud, Steve Hoelscher (Debora) of Troy, Sandra Nelius (Fritz) of Bellville, Connie Petru (Perry) of Westphalia, Ronnie Hoelscher (Vanessa) of Westphalia, Doris Rimathe (Steve) of Madrid and Dale Hoelscher (Kathy) of Westphalia. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home (111 2nd St, Rosebud, TX 76570). A prayer was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Visitation (144 County Rd 3000, Lott, TX 76656).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of the Visitation, Westphalia Historical Society or the charity of your choice.
