She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenza Burns and Tennie Wiggleton Burns; her siblings, Leonard, Perry, Buddy, Grady, Johnny, Mabel and Barbara McKinnon; and her son-in-law Ray Clyde.
She is survived by: her aunt Mary Pomykal; her children, Carolyn Sue Clyde of Huntsville, James (Valeska Downes) and Doris Mayer (David Gaines); her foster sons, David Carter of Maryland and Dan Carter of Franklin; her grandchildren, Kristin, Greg Pirkola, Trevor Downes, David Kastillo of Florida, Lisa, Daniel Evans of College Station, Kelli Gilmore of Salado, Ashley Mayer of Alaska, Chris, Lindsey Gaines of Austin, Jason, Lori Gaines of Bellville, Kyle, Grace Carter of Maryland, Jillian Carter, Beth Carter of Bryan, Terry Clyde of Pennsylvania and Sheri Clyde of Huntsville; her great grandchildren, Jackson Evans, Laila Pirkola, Titus, Hanna Marshall, Weston, Truitt Carter, Anne Marie, Drew Gilmore, Nathan, Savannah Mayer, Connor, Avery, Malcolm and Lincoln Gaines; and her sister Lucille Moss of Cameron. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives.
