It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennett Curtis of Rosebud, Texas, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Clarence and Elnora Whitfield Bonner; and her husband Henry Lee Curtis. She is survived by: her children, Lee Bonnell Shaw (James) of Denver, Carol Diane McKenney (Willie) of Temple, Kathleen Jeanette Dedrick (Jeffrey) of Acworth and Wilbert Marice Curtis (Lanell) of Hewitt; her siblings, Carrie Burleson of Temple and Eugene Bonner of Compton; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Davis of Houston and Ola Mae Bonner of Denver; and her close friend Arthur Mooreland, Sr.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
