He was predeceased by: his father Ray Horton. He is survived by: his mother Charlie Mae Whitfield Horton of Rosebud; his daughter Beverly Horton of Waco; his siblings, Raymond Horton of Cedar Hill, Willie Horton of Conroe, Zelma Scott of Rosebud, Annie Barkers of Port Arthur and Charlie Mae Cook of Huntsville; and his friend Carolyn Sue Papendorf.
