He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Marmon and Annie Tipton Marmon; his sons, Gene Marmon of Springtown, Jeremy Marmon of Rosebud and Matthew Marmon (Jennifer) of Rosebud; his siblings, William Marmon of Rosebud, Kenneth Marmon of Ratibor, James Marmon of Rosebud, Glenda Ellis of Rosebud and Deshannon Ballard of Springtown; his granddaughter Kathleen Kruger of Rosebud; and his cousin Timothy Kruger of Rosebud. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
