She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John T. Shackles, Sr. and Irene Lewis Shackles; her husband Roscoe Henderson; and her sons, Harold and Elliott Henderson.

She is survived by: her stepfather Lee Roy Henderson; her children, Bishop Joseph Henderson, Lalane Rose Henderson, Rev. Willie Henderson, Cheryl Fisher and Clinton Henderson; her brother John T. Shackles, Jr.; and her friend Mozell Freeman Shackles. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
