He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Carothers and Barbara Carothers; and his wife Marilyn. He is survived by: his brothers, Clint and Roger Carothers of Lubbock; his uncle Tommy; and his aunts, Shirley Withrow of Levelland and Linda Dement of Lubbock.
