It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Chris Hobbs of Ropesville, Texas, born in Brownfield, Texas, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Hobbs and Nell Hobbs. He is survived by: his former wife Tammy Hobbs of Apex, NC; his children, Heather Tank of Virginia Beach, VA, Christopher Hobbs of The Woodlands, TX and Eric Hobbs of Apex, NC; his sisters, Iva Roberson of Denton, TX, Kathy Caroland of Merkel, TX, Charlotte Hawkins of Trent, TX and Melody Lykins of Lubbock, TX; and his grandchildren, Titus Tank, Miriam Tank, Emiliya Hobbs, Lilyana Hobbs, David Hobbs-Sepulveda and Oliver Hobbs.
