She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hillhouse, Sr. and Bessie Williamson-Salmon; and her brother John Hillhouse. She is survived by: her husband George Shepard (Glenn); her former spouse Glenn P. Hewlett; her son Bobby Joe; her brothers, James "Zeke" Hillhouse, Jr. and Edgar Lee Hillhouse; her children, Greg Shepard, Glen Shepard, Ronald Shepard, Gary Shepard, Reba Shepard, Audrey Garrett and George Shepard; and her sister Lillie Young. She is also survived by several grandchildren & great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
