She is survived by: her husband Mario E. Barrera; her children, Melinda Barrera-Canché (Xavier) of McAllen, TX and Mario Barrera Jr. (Juanita) of Zapata, TX; her grandchildren, Mario Barrera III, Dr. Xavier Marcel Canché, Monica Lorraine Barrera and Sophia Marina Canché; and her caregivers, Mario III, Yolanda, Rosalinda and Gracias Yolanda. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
