In the sacred silence of farewell, Lauro is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lauro's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Nira; his children, Omar, Lauro III (Larry) and Selma; his grandchildren, Jacob and Adrik; and his sisters, Beatriz and Virginia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sanchez Memorial Funeral Home (101 Jesus Sanchez Ave, Roma, TX 78584). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church (4 St Eugene De Mazenod Ave, Roma, TX 78584).
