He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Josie Hinojosa-Salinas; his sons, Chris Salinas and Andrew Salinas (Karen Salinas); his granddaughters, Anaylie Salinas and Adalette Salinas; his siblings, Jose Roel Salinas, Nora Vela, Zulema Salinas, Theodora Salinas, Rolando Salinas, Roxanna Garza and Annabelle Alaniz; and his parents, Enrique Salinas and Dominga Angelica Salinas.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:15 PM at the Sanchez Memorial Funeral Home (101 Jesus Sanchez Ave, Roma, TX 78584). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church (4 St Eugene De Mazenod Ave, Roma, TX 78584). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Roma City Cemetery.
