He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Gunter and Louise Gunter of Rogers, TX.; his son Mason Taylor Gunter; and his grandson Easton Michael Gunter. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gunter (Cornelius); his children, Michael Wayne Gunter (Heather), Matthew Clayton Gunter (Laci), John Mark Gunter (Casey) and Marissa Gunter Smith (Trevor); his siblings, John Gunter, Molly Bedrich and Donna Goodwin; and his grandchildren, Owen Gunter, Addison Gunter, Eveline Gunter, Eli Gunter, Mason Smith, Levi Smith and Caden Gunter.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Zambia Mission Fund.
