He is survived by: his wife Margaret Cox of Rogers; his children, Larry Cox of Las Cruces, Garry Cox (Deborah) of Coleman, Russell Cox (Amy) of Wimberley, Lesa Shubert (James) of Magnolia, Richard Gommert (Saowanee) of Rogers, Mitch Mason (Jackie) of Davilla, Sherri Nabours (Barry John) of Academy and Sheila Tucker (Randy) of Rogers; his sister Beverly Pruitt of Garland; and his grandchildren, Ricky Cox (Adelle) of Las Cruces, Bobby Cox (Kelly) of Coleman, Alisha Boone (Clark) of Hico, Janette Derrick (Monty) of Maypearl, Matthew Cox (Tara) of Coleman, Courtney Ringo of Arlington, Whitney Hancock of Arvada, Tanner Hancock of Little Elm, Koby Petter of Temple, Ricky Gommert of Rogers, Stephanie Gommert of Boulder, Vanessa Tucker of San Maros and Nolan Mason of Davilla. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
