He is survived by: his wife Sharon Heerdt; his sister Robin Dulaney-Heerdt; his mother-in-law Ann Sandlin; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Houston (Kelly O'Neill) and Randy Sandlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
