He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sampson and Bessie Sampson (Muhammad); and his siblings, Hercules Rogers, Lionel Rogers, Fred Rogers, Calvin Rogers, Johnnie Rogers and Ruth Washington.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Sampson; his daughter Danya Hill; his son-in-law Christopher Hill; his grandchildren, Zachary Michael Miller and Skylar Christina Hill; and his sisters, Angela Sampson, Hallimah Muhammad, Geraldine Rogers and Maxine Amerine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home (6449 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, TX 75241). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
