It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Dawn Hickman of Rockwall, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. Mattison and Ina Mattison (Wolford); her husband Chester Hickman; and her sister Jeanne Jones. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Hickman (Fiona), Shelby Hickman (Terri) and Allan Hickman (Lisa); her sister Vicki Loy; and her grandchildren, Christian, Ashley and Lucas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church Rockwall Building fund or a charity of your choice, honoring Marilyn's spirit of giving back.
