She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Olson and Viola Olson; and her sister Linda Olson. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Dean Brasel; her children, Kara Mondragon (Tony), Heather Davis (Jeremy) and Trevor Brasel (Kristi); her grandchildren, Makenzie Dyess (Beau), Makayla Mondragon, Logan, Peyton McCrary, Sydney and Lance Brasel; her brother Dennis Olson (Jeanne); and also FaceTime. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in memory of Laural to the Rockwall Adoption Center (https://rockwalladoptions.com).
