He is survived by: his wife Carol Gerbode; his children, Dr. Brian Gerbode (Dina) and Cindy Abernathy; his grandchildren, Chelsea James (Jeff), Joshua Plummer, Kaleigh Gerbode (Tiffani), Nicolas Gerbode, Diana Castro (Reuben) and Megan Weaver (James); and his great grandchildren, Jacob James, Ivy Andrews and Eden Andrews. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
