It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Mae Lyon in Rockwall, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Mae Fox and Junius B. Fox; her brother Junius B. Fox (Thomas O. Lyon); her mother-in-law Grace Lyon; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Morgan, Russell Roberts, George Lyon, Ruth Lyon Rose, Jane Morgan and Louise Roberts.
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Lyon; her children, Gary Lyon (Kim), Kathy Mason (Ben), Michael Lyon (Susy), Billy Lyon (Erika) and Debbie McKinney (Brian); and her grandchildren, Christopher Mason (Georgina), Jeffrey Mason, Matthew Mason, Kayla Mason, Jeremy Lyon, Julie Lyon, Andrew Lyon, John Lyon, Tommy McKinney, Kara McKinney, Daeshaun Suragh and Kaitlyn Lyon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
