He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Brenda Potter Fisher; his children, Dara Elizabeth Bearden (David Bearden) and James Zachary Fisher; his grandchildren, Elijah Bearden, Oliver Bearden and Liberty Fisher; his sister Marilyn Earwood (Larry Earwood); his parents, James William Fisher and Opal Price Fisher; his siblings, Carolyn McGill and Thomas Fisher; and his nephew Wesley McGill. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
