He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Stewart and Lizzie B. Stewart; his siblings, Stewart and Martha Watkins; and his former wife Rachel Dickinson Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Stabert Stewart; and his children, Rhonda Muller, Kathy Dougherty (Kirk), Karen Shelton (Mike), Randy Stewart (Lisa) and William Stewart (Tamiko). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
